Blythewood Park Debuts Six Brand-New Pickleball Courts

(Blythewood, SC) – On Thursday, June 26, Blythewood Park held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of six newly renovated pickleball courts at 126 Boney Road. Things to Know About Blythewood Before You Move

Originally called Doko—believed to mean “watering place”—Blythewood was founded around a steam-age depot on the Columbia–Charlotte railroad. The Doko Depot served as a key water stop for trains, and following the Civil War's destruction of the tracks, the railroad was rebuilt and continued to drive local growth.
