June 19, 2025

(Blythewood, SC) – The Town of Blythewood has announced the hiring of Jennifer Edwards as its new Human Resources and Finance Director. Edwards, a resident of Ridgeway, officially stepped into the role on Monday, June 30.

Edwards brings years of experience in municipal and business operations. She most recently handled employee relations for the Town of Winnsboro, where she had served since 2017. Her earlier work includes over a decade as a bookkeeper and office manager for companies in the Ridgeway area.

She replaces longtime staff member Julie Emory, who has worked at Blythewood Town Hall since 2012. Emory is expected to retire at the end of July.

The leadership change marks a transition in day-to-day operations at Town Hall, and residents can expect continued updates as Edwards settles into the role.
